During my time at Teach for America (TFA), I worked as part of a team to give 15,000 alumni, corps members, staff, and supporters an inclusive, powerful, and unforgettable onsite experience celebrating TFA’s 25th anniversary. Leveraging interactive elements to build connections between attendees, be inspired by the progress over 25 years, and be reinvigorated to keep working towards the vision that called them together in the first place.
This resulted in an array of Experiential installations that were a highlight for attendees, leading to the event hashtag trending nationally on both Twitter and Instagram. Over the three-day event, there were 86,146 posts and millions of impressions. Among the installations were: TFA Museum made of five freestanding exhibits; 10' wide Together We Rise Sculpture; Regional Walk highlighting our 52 regions made from user-generated content; a national Collective Map made from attendee-submitted flags.

TOGETHER WE RISE SCULPTURE
Large scale version of the event mark in the convention center lobby for guests to sign to symbolize their continued commitment to this work and memorialize them being at the anniversary summit. The sculpture was 10 feet wide and 5 feet high. After the event the piece was moved to the reception area of the TFA headquarters post event.
